Give Thanks & Cheers!

With Thanksgiving already a memory and the new year almost here, I can’t help but want to yell”Thank you!!!” to the universe, to family and friends at the top of my lungs for an amazing year.  It seems like in the hectic holiday months is when self reflection is in full bloom.  But why during these months?

…Well I think, when you see your 5 year old cousin who actually is  12 now at the Thanksgiving table, you can’t help but think, “wow where did the time go?”…”Wasn’t he like 5 last year?”…”What have I done all this time?”…”What HAVEN’T I done all this time?”….and so on and so on and then you realize, a new year is around the corner….

…You do one of 2 things: Panic or Panic.  Joking!

Its times like this that remind me that we must always live in motion, live momentously.  Because whether you like it or not, time moves with or without you, so get moving!  And be grateful along the way…So when I saw my 5 year old cousin who is now 12, I smiled.  I smiled and gave thanks.  Because I realized that I was in sync with time and the shock of where time went, turned into ” I wonder where time will take me next”.

It can be a scary thought, but its ultimately exciting. So this weekend, grab a drink with someone you love.  Cup of tea, milk and cookies, a cocktail, whatever…and talk about where you want time to take you ..how fast or slow.  And more importantly, acknowledge your gratitude. They will more then likely do the same.

Cheers!
